Go Beyond The Clicks

Make it a point to buy in store and you never know where you'll end up.

What are we doing here people? No, not "here, here". That's way too big a question to tackle at the moment. Although, Yuval Noah Harari's forthcoming book "Nexus"(pre-order here) will likely move readers closer to an understanding of the “big question” as his past books have. If you haven't read Sapiens, Homo Deus and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, I urge you to do so. There’s a paperback box set to really make life easy or you could do the audiobooks if that’s your thing. Personally, I always get the print edition. E-books and the low-quality tablets they came on were never my thing. They always struck me as a way to load up on titles and try to finish as many as possible just for the sake of finishing. This fundamentally defeats the purpose of reading. And don’t get me wrong, I enjoy auditory learning. I’m an avid listener of podcasts and occasionally I’ll choose an audiobook for a longer trip, but when it comes to really processing story, plot and characters, nothing beats good ‘ol fashioned print.
