Introducing ThisNiceLife: OTG
A guide to what I’ve been up to over the past week while…On The Go.
Hello and welcome to ThisNiceLife: OTG. It’s a lot like the newsletter you’ve hopefully been enjoying up to this point, but with less words and more photos. It’ll be a regular thing, sometimes standing alone (like this one), sometimes accompanying the standard weekly dispatch. Not only will this motivate me to get back to shooting more photos for a purpose other than firing them meaninglessly into Instagram’s algorithm, but it will also serve as a handy resource for you all to track places I’ve enjoyed and recommend via the Google Maps links found within.
This first installment covers Sunday, June 23rd- Saturday, June 29th. Enjoy!
Hank’s Coffee Station, Franklin TN - Coffee and small plates in a beautifully renovated service station.
Auberge du Vieux-Port, Montreal, QC - Classic hotel in Montreal’s Old Port district. Stayed the night before starting my test drive of the new Ferrari Purosangue.
Olive et Gourmando- Coffee & a croissant before walking around the city, a must.
And now we’re in Vermont, where billboards are still illegal and businesses get creative. Highly recommend a visit to Hero’s Welcome General Store.
August First, Burlington, VT- Get the signature maple biscuit griddled with their house made jam, then get some more biscuits to go.
The Old Brick Store, Charlotte, VT- Get something to sip or snack on, sit on the front porch and take it all in.
Buxton’s Store, Orwell, VT- Classic Vermont general store, great deli.
The Adelphi Hotel, Saratoga Springs, NY- Tastefully restored, nice spot for lunch before walking around downtown Saratoga Springs.
Dutton Farm Stand, Manchester, VT- It ain’t summer without a Maple Creemee.
Brava, Lenox, MA- Tapas and incredible wine selection.
Blu-Pointe, Newburgh, NY- Riverside surf & turf spot with a great view across the Hudson.
Rivay, Bedford, NY- Elevated classic casual-wear and accessories.
Now in for evaluation, the Ferrari 296 GTB “Assetto Fiorano”.
